I had FUN in Spain and wished I was there longer.

I spent a week with a grp of really nice crew and am so Thankful!!

Let me take you on a journey!!

We were in PARIS!

Took a breather, and breathe the Paris air! Hahahs.

We had to transit at Paris before taking another flight to Valencia.

Upon Reaching Valencia, we were welcome by two beautiful girls, who were our "tour guides" for the week!

The day we had to Do.It.Yourself

 In my OWN TERMS, there are many definitions to describe a partner, it can be a working partner, business partner, etc..

So I have chosen to write about my dream working partner. and not about a life partner. After all, its a dream partner, and I have many ideas of how I want to describe my dream partner. So here I am, diverting your thoughts a little...

Its yet another topic, and this time its about 10 things you would want to know about me.

Trust me, you will be surprised!

Note : * Some things which were never told to my friends. But now you would all know....

1. My mum once told me that when I was at the age of  5-6 years old,

I went for an audition for a children's fashion show. As i was the first participant, I didnt know what to expect and was extremely shy. So when it was my turn, and the music was on, my legs start to get  wobbly and it just refuses to move or stride along with the music, till my mum had to coax me to stand up to walk or to dance! Hahahas. The funniest part was my mum had to do it on my behalf, with me striding along! So mum, now, you do not need to do it on my behalf for this competition, as I am now able to do it on my own!!! But Thank You for giving me my first ever exposure!!!! HAHA!

Some things arent meant to avoid but we still can do something about it while we can!

We gotta take extra precautions in doing our part by staying at home, if we’re not well. Or we have travelled to the affected countries.

Being in a healthcare industry, we’ve gotta take extra(x2) precautions!

For example, taking our temperatures, etc..

and it can be a hassle for many, especially visitors because the restriction of the amount of people entering each ward.

Thorough temperatures checks, donning of gowns ( for both nurses and visitors), N95 masks for nurses in special care units etc…

It was actually mentally and physically challenging.

Since the previous pandemic in 2003 ( SARS) ; I think Singapore and the various hospitals are very well-prepared for such a pandemic.

Never did we know, it will occur so soon. Lives have been taken away; worldwide!

It is only wise we treasure our loved ones and live life to the fullest!

Lastly, it is important to take VERY Good care of our personal hygiene- *wash our hands as often as we can! *cover your mouth or nose when coughing or sneezing.

I merely went for the audition, just for more exposure and to see how i would peform.

Here I am now, representing Singtel with 20 other girls to be part of this exciting event!

I am truly honoured and extremely Blessed with this given opportunity.

Its really something that was unexpected, but nevertheless, Im truly delighted! (:

These are indeed the best years of my life so far and I am ever so grateful for the opportunity to do something that I really

want. This journey, though far from over, has been an amazing one thus far.

Being part of this event, I've gotten a lot more exposures and it has build my confidence level tremendously.

Besides the exposures given, I've got to know more friends, and its nice to know that we all have a common goal.

The one thing that i can still remember was the profile shoot, when we had to do the "clubbing scenes"

I actually had a fun time dancing with the girls and also taking this opportunity to get to know them better.

Its definitely an experience of a Lifetime!

It is real and I am living my dream!

Since its my first post, I would like to share a little bit about myself.

I am blessed to have a wonderful family who are always so supportive!

I am easy to get along with - well, you can say that I am cheerful and approachable!  SMILING is my greatest asset and always trying to stay happy even when things do not go my way.

In life, we are always faced with challenges, but in order to overcome all obstacles, we need to try to stay positive and learn from every mistakes or experiences we make, which I believe that will make us grow better as a person!

Dont you think so?

The people you meet who affect your life, and the success and downfalls you experience, help to create who you are and who you become. *Even the bad experiences can be learned from.*

As a Nurse, ( in my opinion ) ,

I’ve always feel that Nurses are strong and committed, caring and compassionate- that we always try our best to provide the best nursing care for our patients.

Nursing is not merely a job,but a lifelong process.We became nurses, because we want to make a difference in other’s life.

I also feel its a fulfillment to be able to be a role model to others, and I hope to be an encouragement to those around me.

To end off, I would like to encourage everyone to appreciate everything you’ve got, and always be Thankful for the little things in Life, that means alot!
