Reason number 1: Don't try to hard about being gentlemanly. It's a number one turn off and we can sooo tell when you're not being yourself!

2: Don't secretly pick your nose when we're not looking. hmmmm any guilty ones?

3: Don't try too hard to impress us, we can tell when ur unoriginal, just like that.

4: Don't boast about your successes, your travels, your career and your life, and most of all your electronic devices like mobile phones and stuff (though sometimes they catch my eye haha!) unless asked to do so. ;)

5: Don't get too close to us physically when we don't show any interest or when we're just not ready for even a simple kiss.

6: This one's interesting, never ever be late for a date, If it pisses me off I may just leave halfway through dinner.

7: P.s know what we like to eat, do, etc before asking us out! do your research boys!

8: Also, please please please tell your friends you're out with me so I dont get interrupted halfway through dinner or our date by a noisy ring on your phone. It gets very irritating

9: Second most important is to NEVER BE RUDE, OR GET DRUNK ON A FIRST DATE! I can assure you that'll probably be the last time you'll hear from me.

10: and...for the most important... dress smart, smell good, be honest and most importantly know how to hold a conversation, a little flattery here and there is much appreciated! ;) haha you're on your way to a STUD MUFFIN now with all these pointers.

First of all, It's got to be my mum's lovely Nasi Briyani that she makes every year for Deepavali. It's a must have every year and something I could eat for the whole week, coupled with her lovely Dhalcha(which is like an Indian gravy like Dhal), her pickles and yum yum chicken!

Secondly, I'd have to say Penne Carbonara or Arrabiata. This is something I can't live without and would have to have at every and any italian restaurant I come across, whether here in Singapore or Overseas. People say that it is a little to filling and it gets sick to have after a while, but never for me! :-D

Thirdly, it would ahve to be PIZZA! pizza in all shapes and sizes for a good dinner always cheer me up. It's something I really like so I'm really not choosey about what type.

Next up, it would have to be my ever favourite Penang Char Kway Teow, and I'd have to say the best I've tried so far is at Kiliney Kopitiam Siglap, which is just down the road from my place. It's something I have to have every weekend, if possible!

I've grown to develop a liking for Sambal Stingray ever since it was started here in Singapore. I first tried it at Kim's Seafood Restaurant which is on the side road of Joo Chiat Place. You can't miss it for the best Sambal Stingray, Pepper and Chilli Crabs, and Hokkien mee in the country! With that said, it just brought to mind how much I can't do without my Hokkien Mee!!

With all that said, how can I not forget my liking for Mrs Field's and Ben & Jerry's! these 2 are my ultimate fav chocolate things. It's something both my friends and family know will cheer me up, whenever I'm low. My fav Ben & Jerry's flavour has got to be Chocolate Fudge Brownie. hmmmmmm simply divine!

And of course, last but not least it has to be my unending relationship with choc fudge brownies and choc lava cake. They're something I can't go without at every restaurant for desert. I still most definitely havce space in my tummy for it whther from a full meal or not.

My addiction for chocolate and all things sweet, I guess will never fade. Like they say, once a sweet tooth always a sweet tooth.



That's my 20th Birthday Cake that mum home-baked to perfection. My favourite chocolate fudge brownie coated with Chocolate icing!




More recently, this was my 21st birthday cake which was baked by Werner's Oven. It's a choc fudge brownie cake with a little tiara on it.

Anywhoo, that aside, do I like Male Chivalry? Of course I do, I'm sure it'll be every woman's dream to be in the presence of a polite, well brought up, courteous gentleman, don't we all? ;) come on! for me, I would certainly love to be in the presence of a man like that.

Does Male Chivalry still exist today though? I'm 50/50 on this one. It doesn't sometimes. Take for example, when I usually take the train to school, and I see an elderly or an expecting mother, it's very rare that I see a male giving up their seats despite signs throughout the cabin or initiative. It's usually always the ladies that do it. That's just one of the examples though, several others include these boys that I see randomly on the streets fighting and arguing with their girlfriends in the most rudest and disrespectful of ways, without a care in the world whether it was in public or otherwise. That's really the bigges turn off, honestly.

Male chivalry does exist sometimes though, I feel. It's so pleasant to be greeted by lovely courteous service staff whether from restaurants, bars and pubs, and surprisingly, sometimes even hawker centres (for real!). Trust me guys, it's a big SCORE when we speak with a polite, courteous type man.

Mr. Barack Obama
President of the United States of America.

Since even before Mr Obama stood for Presidency, I remember a very long time ago my sister retelling me a story about the life he had lived, and the way he was brought up. If my memory doesn't fail me, it was from the first book that he wrote, Dreams from My Father. She told me how intelligent and independent he was even as a little boy, and this really made me want to find out so much more about him.

A couple of months later, as time went by, I tuned in to the radio one day and heard how he was running for the American Presidential Election. I immediately remembered looking through the internet to find out so much about him, and then realising how he was so appropriate to be running for the election, considering how he's probably been all over the world enough to really know what a change he's going to bring to America. Shortly after, Mr Obama won the Election as the 44th President of the United States of America, despite the controversy that surrounded him, be it about religion, and being the first Black American President of the country.

I made sure I tuned in to every single speech he made, be it as President, as an elect or even in a normal interview on the Oprah or Ellen Degeneress show. The speech that appealed to me most was the Inauguration speech he had made soon after he was sworn in. This brought me to tears thinking about the words and reflecting on it. I could go on about the qualities he possesses, that I'd love to find in my dream partner ;) hehe. As a father, a husband, and even as a good role model in Christianity. His sincerity, integrity, honesty, courage to stand up for his beliefs and most important to me is above all that he's humble, down to earth, with a good sense of humour.

10. I have a fetish for feet, I know, weird but true. I don't know why but when I look at a person, I can tell the personality of a person from his/her feet.

9. My biggest pet peeves are really people who pick their noses in public and rude people.

8. The part that I care most about my body are my legs. I can't bare to even see a small scar on it (aside from not being very careful when I was younger and hurting myself twice on the same spot from being pillion on a bicycle my cousin rode that went straight into a drain) OOPS!

7. That I have 6 ear holes on both ears! I did it when I was 12! was such the fad then! hahahahaha

6. The number sixth is that I have naturally curly hair like this..... and went Pink haired like that for Halloween!



5. I used to represent my school in Athletics in both Primary and Secondary School in mostly the 200 and 400m events. I won Individual Champion for my Secondary school in Sec 2.

4. I'm a KC (Katong Convent) girl at heart. ;)

3. I was so excited to have done a Hallmark TVC with my mum for the first time ever for International Women's Day! here it is.... (My mum's in a long sleeved Khaki top and pants)




2. I have the most supportive family and best friend in the whole wide world. They're irreplaceable.



1. And my number one SURPRISE is.... I had my tongue pierced, after my o levels to complete a milestone in my life as a teenager!! ;)

So here goes, I've been set with the task of picking between Fame, Riches or Power.

My choice is Fame. With Fame (which would have taken me a long time to achieve), Riches will follow, whether in the physical form - dollars and cents- or emotional - the support of my family and friends.

Having Fame and Riches, both in the physical and emotional form, I would then have the Power to command and do what I like to do most in my life.

That aside, I'm back from Istanbul since noon yesterday. A great experience it was, with the other two girls and the crew. I can go on about how much fun I had while working, which was certainly a great combination to start with. With all that 3work and fun, also came lethargy. Got home yesterday with swollen feet and, was lucky to have a rub down from a friend of mine, where my tired feet feels a whole lot better now.

Went for prawning today for the first time with a friend of mine, in the east coast (pictures below), where I managed to snap up at least 3 prawns for a bbq at home! well that's just about all for now, I'm off to enjoy ze feast!
